As part of the ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and interfaith harmony, YarMadadgar, in collaboration with The BIG BookStores and Shajar, organized a significant plantation activity under the “Sar Sabz o Shadab Gujranwala 2025” initiative. This event marked not only a step toward a greener Gujranwala but also a celebration of unity, community upliftment, and shared responsibility.
On the morning of August 5, the serene neighborhood of Faranseesabad, a Christian-majority area in Gujranwala, witnessed a meaningful and symbolic start of the plantation of 500 plants across the local church premises, playground, and graveyard. The event was filled with purpose, as volunteers, faith leaders, civil society members, and environmental activists gathered to plant hope—one tree at a time.

Under the leadership of Chairman Khwaja Rizwan, YarMadadgar is striving to plant thousands of trees across Gujranwala in 2025 to combat urban heat, improve air quality, and foster green consciousness among citizens.
